2009 Mazda 6:
Buttons would not program to a 2009 Mazda6 with MAZ 130 OEM flip key.
Suggestion - Did the car go into programming mode? The SmartPro will not program the remote portion of this SKU and you have to manually program the remote. Verify using the customer's original key that you need the 130 and not the 135. These SKUs look similar but the remotes are not cross compatible

2012 Mazda 5:
Unable to program key: Unable to get accurate key cut for Mazda MAZDA5 2012, Gymkana did not pull code, attempted several times to read key and code was pulled, still not an accurate cut. Member has processed a refund after key was problem solved with no success. Member mentioned having the same issue at Walmart and Home Depot.
Suggestion - Mazda keys can be difficult to cut. Recalibrating the machine and cutting the key twice (flipping the key over between cuts) can sometimes resolve. With the customer mentioning the same issue at other stores, it could have a lot of wear and may require someone to hand-cut the key.

2008 Mazda CX9:
2008 MAZDA CX9 - MAZ 125 OEMFLIP - the car would not go into programming mode with the manual procedure
Suggestion - Only OBP process for programming the remote on this vehicle. Either the OBP process wasn’t performed correctly or there could be an issue with the vehicle.

2018 MAZDA 3:
MAZ 270 SMARTKEY - key programmed just fine and matched the customer's key on fccid and button composition, but it still threw up an error message on the customer's dash. I spoke with Yerik and Gavin and tried erasing and reprogramming the keys, but the error message persisted. I went ahead and special ordered a replacement and we will try to program that and hopefully, it will fix the issue. From what Yerik was telling me, this is a current recurring issue with MAZ 270 SMARTKEY having two different kinds of keys but no way to identify which one we are using to prevent this error message.
Suggestion - The FCC ID and button combination must match for the error message to go away. When you receive the replacement key, erase and reprogram the customer’s original key and the new key. If the error message persists, erase it and try reprogramming the new key with the other key that was previously attempted.
