2001 SUBARU IMPREZA:
SUB 010 - vehicle would go into programming mode, but the remote would not register.
Suggestion - this vehicle may have 2 possible remotes. I’ve checked multiple sources but none fully agree to what remote this vehicle takes. If the customer has an original working remote, match up the FCC ID with either the SUB 010 or possibly the SUB 060. I’ll update the compatibility for the 01 Impreza to have the SUB 060 as secondary compatible.

2010 Subaru Tribeca:
special order sub 020 combo. Remote wouldn't program. Tried erasing remotes that didn't help either. I tried 2 keys. Both didn't work
Suggestion - Did the original remote work after erasing and reprogramming? Verify the year of the vehicle and double-check the customer's original key. Could be a SUB KEY 026 COMBO
-
Subaru Legacy 2016:
Sub key 025 combo. Tried 2 keys. Could not program either remote.
Suggestion - If the transponder programs in but not remote, it is most likely the wrong remote. Please send back in returns a “would not program”

Subaru Forester 2010 COMBO Key:
The remote section was programmed but the key would not. Is that because it might have had max 4 keys programmed? Customer wants me to call with info. Refund but did not take inventory out of system in case you know a solution. I didn't want to call so late at night.
Suggestion - During transponder programming, all keys are erased and only the keys being programmed back in will work. Are you attempting to program more than 4 transponder keys? Is the customer’s original key a combo or is the key and remote separate? If it's a separate key and remote, the chip in the key is different and not cross-compatible. You will need to use a SUB KEY 500 if this is the case. If the customer’s original is a combo key, use a chip reader to see if the chip in the customer’s original matches the key you are attempting to program.
