1.Charge the Battery

Charge it fully byplugging your SmartPro into an AC(120V) outlet. Solid Yellow LED lightindicates a fully charged battery.

 

NOTE: Ifthe battery does not charge,verify that it isconnected. Open the batterycompartment. If unplugged, plugbattery into the connector.

 

 

2. AD Loader

Power on andconnect Smart Pro to a PC with internet access via USB cable. Latest version of AD Loader is 6.6.8 orhigher. Don’t have the AD Loader program?Download and install it from www.advanced-diagnostics.com. Click Smart Pro

 

Existing Users                         New Users

3.Register Your Machine

If you previously ownedan MVP Pro or T-CodePro, simply click on ExistingUser and put in your username and login password. If this is your first AD machine, fill in your information underNew User in the Registration form.

 

 

 

4.Load the Software

Using AD Loader on your PC, click on “Load Device,”“Clear All” then checkONLY 1 box then “Go”, see below. Once your Core AppModule has successfully loaded, click “Select All” and “Go” to update yourremaining Automotive software.
