Use the following instructions to program a new (cut) key to the vehicle. (When you have an already programmed/working key)
- Insert an existing programmed working key into the ignition cylinder.
- Turn ignition to the ON position for 5 seconds, then back to OFF position.
- Remove the existing key and within 5 seconds insert the new key and turn it to the ON position until the anti-theft light goes out.
- Turn the key OFF then back to ON. The key is now programmed. Start vehicle to test key
Use the following instructions to program a new (cut) key to fit your vehicle (without having any other programmed/working keys available)
- Insert a new cut key into the ignition and turn the key to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Within 45 seconds turn the key to OFF and then back to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Within 45 seconds turn the key to OFF and then back to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Turn the key OFF then back ON. The key is now programmed. Start vehicle to test key.
