Autel Toyota/Lexus AKL

Due to a licensing disagreement between the two parties, Autel has removed Toyota/Lexus all keys lost and immobilizer reset functions from their tools. This includes the IM508. 

Autel stated that negotiations are ongoing and that they are working to resolve this as soon as possible. We will update the fleet when any new information becomes available.

SmartPro: REMINDER 

Regularly updating your SmartPro is the most critical step in maintaining your device. You should update individual modules every other day and perform a full software update once a week, at minimum.

OEM Programming

Keys For VW/Audi (ODIS Software)

Today we want to just give a quick reminder about ODIS and using the appropriate keys.

Any Audi or Volkswagen vehicle that requires ODIS will also require a pre-coded key. SKUs obtained from production (VW 800 OEMFLIP, VW 880 SMARTKEY, etc) will not be pre-coded. Therefore, you MUST ONLY use keys that were specially ordered by VIN. Attempting to program a non-pre-coded key will almost certainly result in a serious vehicle issue.

If you receive a dispatch for an Audi or VW that requires ODIS and the SKU listed is not a special order service SKU, the dispatch will need to be redone. Do not attempt to program a standard SKU just because it's listed on the dispatch.
