Nissan Part Numbers

When determining which Nissan smart key to use on a particular vehicle, the FCCID and button configuration are not the only things you need to look at; You also need to match the part number of the original key.

For example, let's look at a NIS 331 SMARTKEY and a NIS 333 SMARTKEY.

NIS 331 SMARTKEY
FCCID: KR5TXN3
Buttons: 5 (remote start, Lock, unlock, panic)
Part Number: 285E3-6XR5A

NIS 333 SMARTKEY
Buttons: 5 (remote start, Lock, unlock, panic)
FCCID: KR5TXN3
Part Number: 285E3-6TA5B

SmartPro: REMINDER 

Regularly updating your SmartPro is the most critical step in maintaining your device. You should update individual modules every other day and perform a full software update once a week, at minimum.

OEM Programming

2023 Jeep Renegade

We are currently working on a special order by VIN system for 2023 Jeep Renegade smart keys.

However, there is an issue with all 2023 Jeep Renegades, and programming should not be attempted at this time.

These vehicles have a software defect that disables all prox functions when a new key is programmed. Stellantis/Mopar is aware of the issue and engineers in Europe are currently working on a fix. This issue also applies to the 2023-2024 Dodge Hornet and the 2023-2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale. We will update the fleet with more information when it is available.
