Although uncommon there are times when using the Universal EZ Installer you may encounter a communication error. Listed below are common causes of the error and what to verify to fix the concern.
- Device is not plugged in to the OBD port fully
- The Bluetooth is not paired between phone and device
- The wi-fi connection is not stable or strong enough
- The OBD port is damaged or the fuse powering it is blown
- The vehicle has an electrical issue (Check engine light)
- The device has a software glitch.
