Every vehicle has a limit to how many keys it can hold in its memory. There is no standard or set amount and it varies by make, model, and year of the vehicle. The best source of information to find out how many keys your vehicle can hold is your owners manual. If you do not have this you can contact a local dealership and provide your make, model, and year and ask for the maximum. If you are at your maximum limit you would need to contact a local locksmith or your dealership to remove old keys that are no longer in use from your vehicle. Currently this programmer can only add keys and not erase keys for security and safety reasons.
