Your registration Vehicle Security Credential (formerly LSID) and login password will be provided in 2 separate emails to the account your provided during your application. 2.0 interface training on CARQUEST Technical Institutes Learning Management System by clicking here
The most critical things you have agreed to that WILL get you suspended for non-compliance
Security related service information acquired through use of “the Registry” shall not be sold, bought, traded, bartered or shared in any way with any individual, business, entity, or person(s) (this includes employees or relatives) other than the registered vehicle owner. A VSP may perform contracted work for a repair shop, dealership or auction where the cost maybe passed on, but the security related information must be destroyed after completing the work.
You are the background checked, credentialed VSP therefore sharing of user names and passwords with anyone else is expressly prohibited and may result in termination.
Note to new VSPs: below is a temporary requirement until we inform you that SDRM 2.0 is ready to receive your D1 transactions.
As a reminder, you are required to complete a D-1 form for every transaction you process using your LSID (accessing an automaker security website). After reviewing the policies, print out several of the Positive Identification Policy and D-1 (Positive ID) Forms.
