“Switch Ignition ON”

  • means to turn key on to ACC 

    • where everything lights up on the dashboard. (DO not start the ignition/engine)


 

Cars with a key hole on passenger side 

  • indicates that the car doesn't take a remote(unless the car is from the early 2000s).


 

Terminal Reset

  • means to disconnect the battery in the car. Disconnect positive and negative leads (AKA battery terminals; the wires that connect to battery)and touch them to one another (this needs to be done at least once before you finish the training program).

XHorse Key Tool - clones chips and unlocks Toyota / Lexus smart keys

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer made key


 

SK = Solid Keys (made by car keys express)


 

Smart Keys = proximity or push to start


 

Transponder Keys = chip keys


 

Hideaway key - transponder key that people can hide.


 

System Types - on the smart pro in top middle, switch from car to Yellow Engine Symbol


 

**To Brick a Car **

means the car doesn't start and it needs to be taken to dealership.

FCCID 

Each key has its own VIN number. It means it has been certified and regulated by the government.

Edge Cut Blade = Side cut blade (cut by silca)


 

High security blade = Laser cut key (cut by 303)

Star Connector

  • used for most CDJ vehicles newer than 2017 to bypass pin code

.AD2012 Cord

  • Jeep Compass, Renegade, Commander
