Hello,
Welcome to the Two-Hundred-Third edition of Tech Tuesday, a weekly email/newsletter where Tech Ops will provide you with new ideas, new procedures, new tools, and anything new to help you in the field.
OEM Server Issue Reporting
We are pleased to announce the new OE Server Issue Reporting page on Internal is now live.

This page will be used to report and track issues regarding OEM programming servers and OEM key/PIN code websites. The page is organized by brand. Within each brand, there are separate sections for reporting programming server issues and reporting website issues. There is a counter displayed to the right of each OEM server and website that shows the number of issues reported in the last 24 hours. The page can be accessed under the Car Keys Express tab on Internal or directly here
All account managers have access to this page. We encourage everyone to use it any time they experience an issue that fits one of the categories listed.
OEM Programming Server Issues

The software issue reporting section has 4 categories:
Server Connection - An issue connecting to the server. These issues will usually be accompanied by an error message that specifically mentions the connection to the server or something similar.
Login issue - An issue logging into the software or the corresponding website when using the correct credentials. This will usually be accompanied by an error code. This is not to be used if you forgot your username or password. Please try resetting your password before reporting a login issue.
Payment Processing Issue - An issue paying for a subscription. This is to be used if the website is erroring out or crashing when attempting to pay. If your card is being declined, please contact accounting.
Other - Use this section if you feel your issue does not fit one of the three above categories. Make sure to include any specific error codes/messages.
This page is not intended as a place to report key programming or vehicle connection issues. This is only to be used to report issues that solely lie on the OEM side. If you're having a programming or hardware issue, please open a ticket.
OEM Website Issues

The OEM website issue reporting section has 3 categories:
Site Down - You are unable to access the website at all.
Login issue - An issue logging into the software or the corresponding website when using the correct credentials. This will usually be accompanied by an error code. This is not to be used if you forgot your username or password. Please try resetting your password before reporting a login issue.
Codes Not Being Returned - Receiving a blank code or website errors out after your payment was successfully processed.
Please send any questions or feedback to techops@carkeysexpress.com

Autel Toyota/Lexus All Keys Lost
Due to licensing disagreement between the two parties, Autel has removed all Toyota/Lexus all keys lost and immobilizer reset functions from their tools. This includes the IM508. Autel stated that negotiations are on going and that they are working to resolve this as soon as possible. We will update the fleet when any new information becomes available.
